Job Position: Appraiser

Position Description:  Appraises and fixes values on all residential, commercial and rural property. Gathers and compiles data on new constructions or additions. Makes rough sketches, classifies and depreciates new residential structures. Conducts research and compiles data on construction costs and current land values. Makes field visits for appraising split properties and line changes. Notes improvements and corrects values of split parcels. Field check and reclassify various properties as needed.

Requirements: Must possess a valid Alabama Driver's License.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
