Job Title: Part-Time Information Control Clerk (19 Hours per week)
Position Description: The Information Control Clerk monitors radio, telephone, and teletype lines. Relays necessary information to patrol units and emergency personnel. Maintains radio logs and other records. Searches files for warrants and civil papers.
Requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing). Must be willing to attend and pass a class to be certified to use the National Crime Investigation Center Program. Must have no prior criminal record. Must also be able to maintain self-control and function in a stressful environment.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Applications will be accepted until filled in the Sheriff's Office on the 2nd floor of the Lauderdale County Courthouse in Florence, Alabama.
